The Year of the Tiger Wellness Challenge

Start: February 14 | End: February 28, 2022

It’s the year of the tiger on the Chinese Zodiac, and we want to help you roar into action and health this year! Join AWB’s wellness challenge this February to cultivate personal & community health all while supporting disaster relief & field programs! Whether you walk your dog, bike, do yoga, meditate, volunteer, or do other wellness activities (like acupuncture!), earn points every day for doing something good for yourself or the community. Track your progress on the team leaderboard, compete for prizes, and help raise awareness and funds for AWB and their work to provide disaster relief & integrative community health services around the world.

Share this with your friends, family, and patients; stay healthy, active, & contribute to AWB.

AWB’s mission is to interrupt the devastating effects of trauma by reducing suffering and helping individuals and communities find greater balance and resiliency. We use community-style ear acupuncture as a powerful, simple, safe way of helping people “reset” their nervous systems to a greater state of calm, quiet and clarity. When a group experiences this relief from chaos, hope, determination and resiliency can begin to be restored, which allows communities to move forward.

How To Join:‍

‍1) Register & Pay Here ‍
2) Download the FREE Kilter app‍
3) Choose Sign In (top right)
4) Go to the Events tab > My Events (you're already registered!)
5) Complete your profile and connect your devices
6) Share! Don’t forget to tell everyone you’ve ever met that you’re participating in this event by posting to social media and sending e-mail.

How to fundraise:

1. Go to the Charities tab of the event in the app and click FUNDRAISE. Choose any amount you want to contribute!

2. Use the peer-to-peer function and ask your friends or family to support your team and your own fitness goals by pledging to donate on your behalf! Click FUNDRAISE from the event in the app to get started!

‍How to Track Activities:

1) Connected Apps & Devices - visit your Profile and go to Connected Devices. Use Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, or UnderArmour Record (MapMyRun) to seamlessly track your daily activities! This is the easiest way to keep track of your activities and earn points.

3) Manually Record Activities - Not living that gym life? No problem! Click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the Manual Entry form. Enter your activity of 30+ minutes within 48 hours of completing your activity to earn points. See here for more info.‍‍

3) Check into Gyms & Fitness studios - click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the gym check in function. When you're within a 400 ft radius of your gym, you'll be able to check in! Gym not there? Click the Add Gym button and send us your gym name and address. It will be added within 48 hours. *Note - Acupuncturists Without Borders encourages safe fitness and activity. Daily Activities

Earn up to 300 points per day for your score by completing one of the below activities. Earn 100 points per activity. Activities may be tracked through connected devices (see Profile to connect to devices), gym checks ins, and manual entries.

Connected Devices

Connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, or Google Fit. From your Profile, click Connected Devices. Connect to your desired tracker(s). Data should come into Kilter automatically.

Gym Check Ins

From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Gym Check In. When you are within a quarter mile radius, your gym will show up on the In Range tab. Click check in. If your gym is not available, click Add Gym to request.

Manual Entries

From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Manual Entry. Choose the tile for your activity. Manual entries must be added within 48 hours of activity and must be greater than 30 minutes in duration to award points. May not be combined with other daily activities.

Streak Bonuses
