Join us Nov. 5-11 for Steps for Scholarships, a week-long steps challenge to support the Evans Scholars Foundation and raise money for caddie scholarships.
Use the Kilter app to track your daily steps during the week and watch the live leaderboard to see how your steps stack up. In addition to supporting the Evans Scholars Foundation, your registration fee gets you an ESF-branded knit hat, chances to win prizes and more.
About Evans Scholars Foundation:
The Evans Scholars Foundation awards full tuition and housing college scholarships to hardworking youth caddies. The academic, professional and social resources the Evans Scholar Program provides helps students maintain a cumulative 3.4 GPA and 95 percent graduation rate. This year, there are a record 1,045 Evans Scholars enrolled in 19 leading universities nationwide. More than 11,300 young men and women have graduated as Evans Scholars since 1930.
This event is OPEN to the public. We encourage you to invite your friends, family and colleagues to join in on the fun. Help us celebrate the Evans Scholars Community and the steps we all take to change the lives of promising young caddies.
PRIZES:
Every participant will receive an ESF-branded knit hat. The top finishers at the end of the challenge will also earn prizes, and we’ll be raffling off additional prizes for participants during the week.

HOW TO JOIN:
1) Click Register. Create your account and pay the entry fee.
2) Download Kilter. Sign in and view the My Events tab. You're in!
3) Make sure you are connected to your activity trackers. See Profile and click Connect Devices to choose your tracker. Recommended trackers for this event: Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, Fitbit.
4) During the event, take as many steps as you can to earn points on the live leaderboard. Your steps are tracked automatically through your connected devices! Stay at the top of the leaderboard for your chance to win cool prizes (see rules tab for exercise list)!
5) Compete to raise the most money for Evans Scholars Foundation by utilizing the individual donation function and the peer-to-peer feature (choose GET DONATIONS in the event to ask your friends and family to support your personal step goal and Evans Scholars Foundation all at once!).

1) Connected Apps & Devices - visit your Profile and go to Connected Devices. Use Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, or UnderArmour Record (MapMyRun) to seamlessly track your daily steps!

HOW TO RAISE MONEY:
1. Go to the Charities tab of the event in the app and click DONATE. Choose any amount you want to contribute!
2. Use the peer-to-peer function and ask your friends or family to support your team and your own fitness goals by pledging to donate on your behalf! Click GET DONATIONS from the event in the app to get started!

HOW TO TRACK YOUR STEPS
You must track your steps by connecting to an approved fitness tracking app or device.
Connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, or Google Fit. From your Profile, click Connect Devices. Connect to your desired tracker(s). Your daily steps will come into Kilter automatically and apply your points to the live leaderboard!
For most accurate step counts, we recommend connecting to Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, or Fitbit.
Manual entries will not be accepted in this event.
This Challenge starts and ends based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Challenges are built to start at 8 am UTC or 12 am EST on the day of the challenge. Challenges are built to end at 4 am UTC the day after the final day of the challenge or 8 pm EST on the final day of the challenge.All activities logged during the Challenge period must be completed within the above dates and times to be counted. Users will only be awarded points based on activities from the day the User joins the Challenge and after that date. Users will not receive points for activities that may upload into Kilter for days prior to the date they joined the Challenge. See the above list of activities for information on the activities that will count towards the challenge. Manual entries may be eligible depending on the Challenge. Please refer to the above list of activities. Activities will be visible to all other Challenge participants.Your followers may see notifications that you've completed activities in this challenge.
