2nd Annual KEEN ANY K

Start: June 1, 2021 | End: June 30, 2021

KEEN Imagines a World where ALL youth have equal opportunities for recreation, fitness, and friendship - regardless of their abilities. KEEN’s Mission: Empower youth with disabilities by providing free, non-competitive one-to-one programs of exercise, fitness and fun, led by volunteer coaches.

Walk? Run? Swim? Bike? Pogo-stick? Meditate? - ANY activity counts for the KEEN ANY K!  Earn points every day, track your progress on the challenge leaderboard, and help raise awareness and funds for KEEN USA nationally or your local KEEN Affiliate!

This event is OPEN to the public.  Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in supporting KEEN as you keep each other motivated to be healthy and active.

‍*90% of your entry fee goes directly to support KEEN in this event!

How to Join:

  1. Register at www.kilterapp.com
  2. Download the FREE Kilter app
  3. SIGN IN on the App (at the top right)
  4. Click on Events Tab > My Events
  5. Complete your profile and connect any desired devices
  6. Share! Don’t forget to tell everyone in your network that you’re participating in this event by posting to social media and sending e-mail.

‍During the Event

  1. Complete daily fitness goals, earn points
  2. Compete to win for yourself or your team
  3. Share! Use the Kilter built-in functionality to text, email, and post on social media. Your network can contribute in your name.
  4. Raise money and compete to WIN!

How to fundraise:

  1. Go to the Charities tab of the event in the app and click DONATE. Choose any amount you want to contribute!
  2. Use the peer-to-peer function and ask your friends or family to support your team and your own fitness goals by pledging to donate on your behalf! Click GET DONATIONS from the event in the app to get started!

‍‍How to Track Activities:

  1. Connected Apps & Devices - visit your Profile and go to Connected Devices. Use Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, or UnderArmour Record (MapMyRun) to seamlessly track your daily activities! This is the easiest way to keep track of your activities and earn points.
  2. Manually Record Activities - Not living that gym life? No problem! Click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the Manual Entry form. Enter your activity within 48 hours to earn points. Click here for more info.‍‍
  3. Check into Gyms & Fitness studios - click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the gym check in function. When you're within a 400 ft radius of your gym, you'll be able to check in! Gym not there? Click the Add Gym button and send us your gym name and address. It will be added within 48 hours. *Note - KEEN encourages safe fitness and activity. Daily Activities

Earn up to 200 points per day for your score by completing one of the below activities. Earn 100 points per activity. Activities may be tracked through connected devices (see Profile to connect to devices), gym checks ins, and manual entries.

Connected Devices

Connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, or Google Fit. From your Profile, click Connected Devices. Connect to your desired tracker(s). Data should come into Kilter automatically.

Gym Check Ins

From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Gym Check In. When you are within a quarter mile radius, your gym will show up on the In Range tab. Click check in. If your gym is not available, click Add Gym to request.

Manual Entries

From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Manual Entry. Choose the tile for your activity. Manual entries must be added within 48 hours of activity and must be greater than 30 minutes in duration to award points. May not be combined with other daily activities.

Streak Bonuses

Every 5 days in a row = +100 pts

Wednesdays = Go the extra mile!

Earn +25 point bonus for one of the following. Go the extra mile bonuses are not awarded for Manual Entries.

3 miles walking/running

60 minutes active time

7.5 miles biking

750 meters swimming

7500 steps
