Calling all runners, families, and philanthropists! Wells of Life will be hosting our 6th annual Run4Water Event virtually. Registration and fundraising begin on May 1, and the Run4Water activity challenge begins on July 1. Run4Water is our biggest fundraising event of the year and we can't wait to see you! Proceeds generated will be used to renew 50 broken wells: each servicing over 1,000 people in need. All participants should register through our app to complete challenges to earn points, raise funds, and renew hope through clean water!
Participation is easy. Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in your pursuit to make a positive impact while keeping each other motivated to be healthy and active. Run4Water is a great opportunity for families, team-building, and anyone who loves to have fun while giving back! This event is OPEN to the public - so everyone can join.
Did you know there are still 300+ forgotten wells in Mityana? As of January 2021, we have funded 100 well restorations. With your help, we can restore all of them! Like a car, wells require regular maintenance, which is why Wells of Life makes it a priority to restore older wells, no matter who drilled them. Donations raised through Run4Water will be used to renew hope for those who once had a well, but no longer do.
Registration begins May 1, 2021. Be sure to download our app and register to participate in Run4Water. Complete challenges like posting to social media, walking, running, and more to earn points! Raise funds to provide clean water to those in need, and have fun doing it! Wells of Life will be accepting donations for Well Restoration until July 11, 2021. Swag bags will be awarded to every participant that registers, and prizes will be given to top finishers in points and fundraising.

1. Go to the Charities tab of the event in the app and click DONATE. Choose any amount you want to contribute!
2. Use the peer-to-peer function and ask your friends or family to support your team and your own fitness goals by pledging to donate on your behalf! Click GET DONATIONS from the event in the app to get started!

How to Track Activities:
1) Connected Apps & Devices - visit your Profile and go to Connected Devices. Use Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, or UnderArmour Record (MapMyRun) to seamlessly track your daily activities! This is the easiest way to keep track of your activities and earn points.
2) Manually Record Activities - Not living that gym life? No problem! Click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the Manual Entry form. Enter your activity of 30+ minutes within 48 hours of completing your activity to earn points. See here for more info.
3) Check into Gyms & Fitness studios - click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the gym check in function. When you're within a 400 ft radius of your gym, you'll be able to check in! Gym not there? Click the Add Gym button and send us your gym name and address. It will be added within 48 hours. *Note - Wells of Life encourages safe fitness and activity. July 11: COMMUNITY SERVICE SATURDAY
Bonus points will be awarded to teams who perform an act of service within their local community. For example, beach cleanup! Participate in this challenge for a chance to win a ShapeStretch bar and program.Check back here for more information on prizes soon!
RULES & SCORING SYSTEM
Daily Activities
Earn up to 200 points per day for your score by completing one of the below activities. Earn 100 points per activity. Activities may be tracked through connected devices (see Profile to connect to devices), gym checks ins, and manual entries.
Connected Devices
Connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, or Google Fit. From your Profile, click Connected Devices. Connect to your desired tracker(s). Data should come into Kilter automatically.
Gym Check Ins
From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Gym Check In. When you are within a quarter mile radius, your gym will show up on the In Range tab. Click check in. If your gym is not available, click Add Gym to request.
Manual Entries
From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Manual Entry. Choose the tile for your activity. Manual entries must be added within 48 hours of activity and must be greater than 30 minutes in duration to award points. May not be combined with other daily activities.
Streak Bonuses
Every 5 days in a row = +100 pts
Wednesdays = Go the extra mile!
Earn +25 point bonus for one of the following. Go the extra mile bonuses are not awarded for Manual Entries.
