This Tri is for everyone! Look forward to a fun 3-week triathlon-themed event running from June 27 - July 18, 2021! If you walk/run, bike, or swim, this event is for you!

- Open - Just looking for some fun while getting in your walking, running, rucking, rolling, swimming or biking? Great! Join this team!
Proceeds generated will be used to continue multi-sport events and programs that empower kids, schools, and communities to be healthy and happy. We have a collective goal of $5,000 raised in this event, and you can start today!

3) Choose Sign In (top right)
4) Go to the Events tab > My Events (you're already registered!)
5) Complete your profile and connect your device. **Only connect 1 device for this challenge**. Don’t forget to set a goal!
6) Share! Tell everyone you’ve ever met that you’re participating in this event by posting to social media and sending e-mail.

How to fundraise!
1) During the event, complete daily activities to earn points for your personal score on the live event leaderboard (see Rules tab for info on what activities count toward your personal score).
See how your dollars count:
· $10 - Covers healthy snacks for five kids
· $25 - Covers one event scholarship
· $50 - Covers one pair of shoes
· $100 - Covers one bus for an event so transportation is no longer a barrier
· $200 - Covers the cost of swim lessons for three schools
· $250 - Covers the cost of one teacher for our Training Team
· $500 - Covers all shuttles for an event
· $1,000 - Covers 10 program scholarships
· $1,500 - Funds one Training Team site
Steps:
1. Set a goal! Setting a fitness goal is important, but equally important is making sure you have a fundraising goal to achieve. It should be exciting and aspirational.
2. Kickstart Your Campaign! Did you know that people who kickstart their fundraising with a self-donation raise about 8 times more than those who don’t? Show everyone how committed to Tri 4 Schools you are by making a donation toward your own goal. On the event page in the app and click "Donate." Choose any amount you want to contribute!
3. Email! Email! Email! The number one way to get friends and family to know about your fundraiser is to email them! Yes, people still check their email. We suggest sending three to five emails during the duration of your campaign with updates, sharing your story and shout-outs to donors. Click FUNDRAISE from the event in the app to get started!
4. Get (and stay) Social! With the Kilter App it’s incredibly easy to share your campaign with your social media followers. Regular updates on your progress will go a long way in getting people invested in your progress. It’s also a great way to thank donors by tagging them in a post. Whether you're using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or other social media platforms, with the click of a button you can share your campaign with hundreds of people.
