Welcome to the Get Out Your House for The Warehouse Challenge on Kilter, where you'll turn your daily health and fitness activities into an accessible opportunity to unite our community and to continue to utilize recreation and sports to engage the youth of Bloomington in a positive way.
Whether you like to shred or get shredded, move your body to support The Warehouse. Each day in May, you will earn points for any activity you do: bike, skate, play basketball, do yoga, run, walk, workout, and so much more! You can even earn points for volunteering or taking your pet to the park. It’s that simple.
This event is open to the public. We encourage you to invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in your pursuit to support The Warehouse as you keep each other motivated to be healthy and active.
Want to start a team? Teams provide the opportunity for some friendly competition among colleagues, friends, and family! During this time of distancing, you can come together virtually to support us.

During the event, complete daily wellness activities to earn points for your personal score on the live event leaderboard (see Rules tab for info on what activities count toward your personal score). Feed your inner competition beast, by staying on top of the leaderboard. Or if that’s not your thing, ignore it and focus on your activity! Stick with us until the end to earn your Finisher Medal!
Get Out Your House for the Warehouse will raise critical funds to allow us to continue to utilize recreation and sports to engage the youth of Bloomington in a positive way. Here’s how to have a successful fundraiser in 4 easy steps:
1. Set a goal! Setting a fitness goal is important, but equally important is making sure you have a fundraising goal to aspire to. It should be exciting and aspirational.
2. Kickstart Your Campaign! Did you know that people who kickstart their fundraising with a self-donation raise about 8 x more than those who don’t? Show everyone how committed to this event you are by making a donation towards your own goal. Go to the Charities tab of the event in the app and click "Donate." Choose any amount you want to contribute!
3. Email! Email! Email! The #1 way to get friends & family to know about your fundraiser is to email them! Yup, people still check their email. We suggest sending 3 - 5 emails for the duration of your campaign with updates, sharing your story and shout-outs to donors. Click GET DONATIONS from the event in the app to get started!
4. Get (and stay) Social! With the Kilter App it’s incredibly easy to keep to share your campaign with your social media followers. Regular updates on your progress will go a long way in getting people invested in your progress. It’s also a great way to thank donors by tagging them in a post. Whether you're using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or whatever other social media apps are out there, with the click of a button you can share your campaign with hundreds of people. Click GET DONATIONS from the event in the app to get started!

1) Connected Apps & Devices - visit your Profile and go to Connected Devices. Use Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, or UnderArmour Record (MapMyRun) to seamlessly track your daily activities! This is the easiest way to keep track of your activities and earn points.
3) Manually Record Activities - Not living that gym life? No problem! Click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the Manual Entry form. Enter your activity of 30+ minutes within 48 hours of completing your activity to earn points. See here for more info.
3) Check into Gyms & Fitness studios - click the (+) icon from your dashboard to open the gym check in function. When you're within a quarter mile radius of your gym, you'll be able to check in! Gym not there? Click the Add Gym button and send us your gym name and address. It will be added within 48 hours. *Note - The Warehouse encourages safe fitness and activity. RULES & SCORING SYSTEM
Daily Activities
Earn up to 200 points per day for your score by completing one of the below activities. Earn 100 points per activity. Activities may be tracked through connected devices (see Profile to connect to devices), gym checks ins, and manual entries.
Connected Devices
Connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, or Google Fit. From your Profile, click Connected Devices. Connect to your desired tracker(s). Data should come into Kilter automatically.
Gym Check Ins
From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Gym Check In. When you are within a quarter mile radius, your gym will show up on the In Range tab. Click check in. If your gym is not available, click Add Gym to request.
Manual Entries
From the Dashboard, click on the (+) and select Manual Entry. Choose the tile for your activity. Manual entries must be added within 48 hours of activity and must be greater than 30 minutes in duration to award points. May not be combined with other daily activities.
Streak Bonuses
Every 5 days in a row = +100 pts
Wednesdays = Go the extra mile!
Earn +25 point bonus for one of the following. Go the extra mile bonuses are not awarded for Manual Entries.
3 miles walking/running
60 minutes active time
7.5 miles biking
750 meters swimming
7500 steps
This Challenge starts and ends based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Challenges are built to start at 8 am UTC or 12 am EST on the day of the challenge. Challenges are built to end at 4 am UTC the day after the final day of the challenge or 8 pm EST on the final day of the challenge. All activities logged during the Challenge period must be completed within the above dates and times to be counted. Users will only be awarded points based on activities from the day the User joins the Challenge and after that date. Users will not receive points for activities that may upload into Kilter for days prior to the date they joined the Challenge. See the above list of activities for information on the activities that will count towards the challenge. Manual entries may be eligible depending on the Challenge. Please refer to the above list of activities. Activities will be visible to all other Challenge participants.Your followers may see notifications that you've completed activities in this challenge. Please see Privacy Settings in your profile to adjust your settings to enable followers and allow others to see your activities.The description of this challenge is provided by The Warehouse.
