The Dylan's Wings of Change Ragnar team is running 200 miles from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire on September 17-18, 2021!
In this challenge, you and your own team of up to 12 people can run along with us from wherever you are! You can choose how you divide up the total miles between you, and both walking and running count toward your 200 mile goal during the event weekend.

About Dylan's Wings of Change: We are a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first grade victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

1. Set a Goal! Setting a daily mileage goal is important, but equally important is making sure you have a fundraising goal to aspire to. It should be exciting and aspirational.
2. Kickstart Your Campaign! Did you know that people who kickstart their fundraising with a self-donation raise about 8x more than those who don’t? Show everyone how committed to this event you are by making a donation towards your own goal. Click "Donate" from the main event page to contribute. Choose any amount you want to contribute!
3. Email or Text! The #1 ways to get friends & family to know about your fundraiser is to email or text them! We suggest sending 3-5 emails and 10-20 texts for the duration of your campaign with updates, sharing your story and shout-outs to donors. Click FUNDRAISE from the event in the app to get started!
4. Get (and Stay) Social! With the Kilter app, it’s incredibly easy to keep sharing your campaign with your social media followers. Regular updates on your progress will go a long way in getting people invested in your progress. It’s also a great way to thank donors by tagging them in a post. Challenges are built to end at 4 am UTC the day after the final day of the challenge or 8 pm EST on the final day of the challenge. All activities logged during the Challenge period must be completed within the above dates and times to be counted. Users will only be awarded points based on activities from the day the User joins the Challenge and after that date. Users will not receive points for activities that may upload into Kilter for days prior to the date they joined the Challenge. See the above list of activities for information on the activities that will count towards the challenge. Manual entries may be eligible depending on the Challenge.
